2 jump, fall from buildings in Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale.

Apr. 12--Two people either fell or jumped from buildings in Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale in separate incidents about half-an-hour apart Thursday morning, authorities said. The man in Fort Lauderdale, 45, died.

The Hollywood incident took place in the same block in which police found a 24-year-old man dead Wednesday morning after he apparently jumped from a parking garage.

Thursday's incident occurred about 9:30 a.m. at the Hollywood Beach Tower, 301 Harrison St., said Lt. Robert Hazen of Hollywood Fire-Rescue. When the man, who is in his 50s or 60s, landed on the ground, passersby gave him CPR and otherwise tried to revive him ...
