Apr. 12--The U.S. Mint is scrambling to resolve problems with its new presidential dollar coins, So To Speak has learned. "We expected the usual flaws -- coins with two heads, missing inscriptions, that sort of thing," said a spokesman who asked to remain fictitious.
"But we're seeing problems we never envisioned." Complications arose in February, soon after the release of the George Washington dollar, first in the series.
