Apr. 12--NASHVILLE -- Nashville forward Scott Hartnell was ejected midway through the second period Wednesday after his neutral-zone hit knocked Jonathan Cheechoo out of the game with an injured right knee.
"That's a dangerous play," Sharks Coach Ron Wilson said. "I'm not sure the extent of Cheech's injury, but it could be serious. It was a two-part attack, an elbow to the mouth that knocked a tooth out and then the knee-on-knee contact. You've got two of the worst things that we have in hockey: a head shot and a knee on knee. If that's not trying to hurt somebody, I don't know what is.
