DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 23, 1995-- Sensormatic Electronics Corp. (NYSE:SRM) Monday announced it is consolidating the operations of two of its subsidiaries, Software House and Continental Instruments.
Each company currently provides access control electronic security products and systems, but to separate market segments. Their combination is expected to strengthen Sensormatic's overall access control operations -- particularly in product planning research and development, and sales and marketing -- and offer customers a wider portfolio of products.
