Ad pages for 2006 ended relatively flat (up .68%). January 2007, B2B publishers didn't get as good of a start out of the gate, with pages being down 3.1%, according to the BIN report, provided by American Business Media and powered by IMS/The Auditor and PERQ/HCI.

One superstar category that continued to grow was architecture, design, lighting. In 2006, the sector ended the year up almost 10% in ad pages. In the January report, the category started the year up 6.85% in ad pages, while 12 industry sectors were down and 10 were up, including "miscellaneous."

Banking, finance, and insurance also made strong gains (up 2.98% in ad pages in January). ...
