SAN JOSE, Calif. _ If the power play had clicked as effectively as the other aspects of their game, the San Jose Sharks probably would have scored a victory decidedly more one-sided than the 3-1 decision they earned Monday over the Nashville Predators.
But don't expect the Sharks to apologize for their continued malfunctioning with the man-advantage. The bottom line is that they defended their home ice to grab a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven playoff series. Game 4 is Wednesday.
