Baltika starts selling beer to North Korea
Moscow. April 17 (Interfax) - Baltika breweries has started selling beer to North Korea.
The first consignment of Baltika No. 5 Gold beer - 72,000 bottles - has been shipped to the Korean Trading Company and will be sold for about 1,600 won ($0.80) per bottle, the company announced in a press release.
North Korea is Baltika's 41st foreign market.
Marketing Baltika beers in North Korea is a most unusual project, the press release said, citing company exports director Dmitry Kistev.
