Apr. 17--I'll never forget the time I sent a lidded plastic bowl filled with salad to elementary school with my son for a picnic. For some reason the fifth-grade teacher decided to use the lid as a saucer to heat food in the microwave. It melted. "Sorry," was the light-hearted message that came home.
