According to "Jordan Times", King Abdullah issued directives for the speedy implementation of agricultural projects to revive the sector, increase its exports and improve the living conditions of farmers. During a meeting with agricultural sector representatives, King Abdullah said it was important to accelerate the implementation of pioneering agricultural projects planned for Deir Alla, Ajloun, Ghor Al Safi, Wadi Araba and Al Hassa in Tafileh. Chairman of the Board of the Jordan Exporters and Producers Association for Fruit and Vegetables Basil Al Deek noted that the projects were proposed by a study prepared by concerned bodies in the agricultural field. ...
