Apr. 17--The Sharks are finding out how to deal with their annoying case of Predator provocation: ignore it. The Sharks' mission Monday night was to win Game3 against Nashville while avoiding any further side trips into the Jerry Springer Ice Capades.
Mission accomplished. As the Sharks scored their 3-1 victory, there was no nonsense. Just smart hockey. The Sharks' strategy was as plain as... well, as plain as the spleen that isn't in Peter Forsberg's belly.
Shoot long. Clean up low. That seemed to be the plan. Again and again, the Sharks loaded up and fired hard from long range at Nashville goalie Tomas Vokoun.
