Apr. 18--The former Ohio State University research scientist killed Monday in the Virginia Tech massacre was a serious intellectual who dedicated his life to helping people, former OSU colleagues said yesterday.
Kevin P. Granata, 45, applied his talents for nearly 20 years to research into reducing work-related injuries and improving the lives of people with limited mobility, they said.
