Dabur to hold beauty contests in villages

New Delhi, Apr 18 (PTI) Young women in rural areas of the country can now aspire to become beauty queens with a leading consumer goods manufacturer set to organise beauty contests in villages.

Dabur India, makers of popular consumer brands like 'Dabur Amla Hair Oil', has decided to hold beauty pageants at village and 'tehsil' levels.

To begin with, the company plans to hold contests in the villages of Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, and based on the experience in these places, such events will be held across the country, Dabur Vice President (Consumer Care) Vikas Mittal told PTI.
