Apr. 19--BRIDGEPORT -- Several artists, joined by a City Council member, urged the full council this week to support their crusade to stop plans to convert gallery space in a former West End factory into condominiums.
Councilman Keith Rodgerson, D-133, an amateur musician who has performed at the imperiled NEST Arts Factory on Hancock Avenue, at Monday's council forum lent support to NEST members Robert Ledoux, a visual artist, and David Flynn, a lighting designer.
