The Power of Feminist Art, edited by Norma Broude and Mary D. Garrard, is the first comprehensive history of American feminist art. Long awaited, it documents the nearly two-and-a-half decades that have passed since the beginning of the feminist art movement in this country, with heavy emphasis on the early years. Lucy R.
