Our Northwest Farm Terriers are at it again. A friend brought us a kitten that was too young to be away from her mother and our Sadie promptly adopted and nursed the youngster. Sadie had had puppies three months prior to the kitten's arrival so I'm not sure if there really was milk involved or it is was just a "comfort thing." It sure was cute though, and actually all of the dogs got into the act when it came to grooming and playtime. The funny part was Sadie began weaning Digit (so named due to the extra toes) after nursing her for four weeks, just like she does with her own pups.
