Snocross tracks are like sports referees: The good ones are taken for granted, while the rest spark frequent complaints. But critiquing courses is usually unfair. A track awaits racers and fans when they arrive at an event. It's been days in the making--at a minimum--and subject to factors often well beyond the builder's control.
"Most people don't understand how much work really goes into it," said Chris Wilk, who's been constructing Rock Maple Racing (RMR) courses for five years. Former WSA President joe Duncan understands.
