For starters
Rather than start 6-foot-11 center Erick Dampier, Mavericks Coach Avery Johnson decided to match up with Don Nelson's "small ball" lineup and go with 6-8 forward Devean George. True, George has three more NBA championship rings than Dampier. But did Johnson really want to give in to Nelson this early in the series?
Momentum swing
The Warriors used a 7-0 run to turn Dallas' 16-15 lead into a 22-16 advantage. The Warriors did it with a three-pointer by Jason Richardson, a second-chance layup by Al Harrington and a fast-break layup by Stephen Jackson.
