Apr. 23--DECATUR -- Christopher Marks grew up in Decatur, graduated from MacArthur High School in 1991 and then graduated from Illinois State University, Normal, with a degree in economics in 1995.
An employee of State Farm Insurance, Marks is a member of the catastrophe services team, a position which keeps him on the road somewhere between 200 and 220 days a year.
And the claims representative is now a published poet.
Q: First, tell a little about what you've published.
"I haven't been a very avid reader throughout my life," he admitted.
