While most of the critics in the media blamed the Wild's loss to the Ducks in the Western Conference semifinals on the fact that the winners overpowered the losers, Wild coach Jacques Lemaire pointed to the postseason inexperience of several Wild players as one reason they were eliminated.
"The thing is, we had a lot of young guys that are not experienced in the playoffs," said the popular Wild coach. "I'm talking [about Pierre-Marc] Bouchard, you know, these types of guys - [Nick] Schultz and [Brent] Burns and all these guys.
"Mikko Koivu was another one of those; they're young guys that ... have no experience ...
