Corn can be enjoyed in so many ways - grilled, boiled, broiled, baked, flaked, fried, stewed, popped ... or on your back.
Yes, corn can be worn. Hopkins-based Mill Direct Apparel is releasing a new line of sportswear made from Ingeo, a material that begins as kernels of corn. It comes from the soil and can also return to it, since Ingeo is compostable. Another eco-friendly aspect: Because Ingeo garments wick rather than absorb moisture, they don't need to be tossed into that power-sucking clothes dryer.
