Apr. 24--COLUMBUS -- The Pole Maintenance Co. LLC of Columbus submitted the winning bid to Nebraska Public Power District for a three-year contract totaling $1,090,749. The contracted work will be divided into three parts dealing with the inspection and treatment of transmission, subtransmission and distribution pole structures.
Part One will focus on wood pole inspection and treatment services for high-voltage transmission structures. An estimated 3,451 poles will be serviced in 2007; 4,266 poles in 2008; and 5,781 poles in 2009.
