Apr. 25--RICHMOND -- Two Hampton Roads senators have been cleared of charges that their involvement with land-condemnation legislation conflicted with their private careers as attorneys.
A state Senate panel met behind closed doors last week to consider the complaint against Sen. Ken Stolle of Virginia Beach and Sen. Thomas K. Norment Jr. of James City. Roanoke attorney David Nixon, who filed the complaint, said he was informed via Express Mail on Monday that the complaint had been dismissed.
