Students today are faced with a number of challenges in their pursuit of higher education, with financial barriers among the most common. ASRT Education and Research Foundation Scholarship Patron Kevin Rush, M.H.A., R.T.(R)(T), has been through that ordeal.
"While in radiography school, I was flat broke and had to depend on loans, grants and scholarships to get me through. I did manage to work a few hours per week in the hospital's radiology department, but that barely kept food on the table," he said.
