Al Gore insists he's not campaigning for political office, but that's not how things appear. And with a new education curriculum based on his popular film, An Inconvenient Truth, finding its way into Canadian schools, his campaign would seem to be gaining momentum, even north of the 49th.
The former U.S. vice-president has criss-crossed the continent, spreading the global warming gospel, and feeding rumours that he is capitalizing on the green bandwagon to take the Democratic nomination, and a run at the presidency in 2008.
