Tim Doll likes what he sees of the Eugene Airport - modern, well-managed, with good air service for an airport of its size.

His job, as the new airport manager, is to keep a good thing going, he said.

"I think this airport is in perfect position," he said. "We want to make this the airport of choice for the region."

Doll, 46, comes to Eugene from Arkansas, where he served as operations director at Little Rock National Airport. It was a much bigger airport than Eugene - about 1.3 million passengers flying out each year, compared with about 370,000 flying out Eugene.
