Apr. 27--Paul Williford will stand trial in the fall on charges that he murdered two women on his Tulsa World delivery route.
Tulsa County prosecutors are not pursuing the death penalty for a former Tulsa World newspaper carrier who faces a trial in the fall on charges of murdering two women on his delivery route.
District Judge Jesse Harris on Thursday scheduled an Oct. 8 jury trial for Paul Williford on two counts of first-degree murder linked to the deaths of Geraldine Law- horn, 75, and Donna Jo Stauffer, 73.
Assistant District Attorney Bill Musseman said he does not plan to request a death sentence for Williford, ...
