Apr. 29--At 22, Hans Herman Thun thought he had secured a future in broadcast journalism, with a job offer awaiting the college graduate at a Minnesota television station. He lived rough -- admits he was not a religious man and was prone to using profanity. That changed when he was almost killed in a car accident while traveling to visit a sister in New Mexico.

With Thun confined to a hospital bed, his job offer expired. A sales executive familiar with Thun's plight phoned him, and offered him a job at KZUE radio in Oklahoma City. He took the job and moved to Oklahoma City in 1980. It was soon after, Thun says, he discovered God -- and a knack for tailoring. …
