BoB FY07 net up 24 per cent at Rs 1,026.47 cr

Mumbai, Apr 28 (PTI) Buoyed by a healthy increase in interest income coupled with drop in NPAs, Bank of Baroda posted a 24.12 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 1,026.47 crore in FY07 against Rs 826.97 crore in FY06.

Declaring the result today, BoB Chairman and Managing Director A K Khandelwal said, "There were five things we wanted to achieve in FY 07.

"We wanted to cross the 2,00,000 lakh crore-mark in business, achieve a minimum Rs 1,000 crore net profit, bring our net NPAs below one per cent and have 1,000 ATMs and branches on-line each. I am happy to announce that we have achieved these," he ...
