CONSERVATIONISTS hope a series of celebrity scribbles will help safe guard the future of North Wales' endangered red squirrels.
Wildlife expert Iolo Williams, opera superstar Bryn Terfel, singer Aled Jones, politicians Albert Owen and Ieuan Wyn Jones and ex-rugby star Robin McBryde all put pen to paper to sketch a squirrel.
And their signed drawings and doodles will be auctioned on the internet in May.
Organised by The Friends of the Anglesey Red Squirrels it is hoped the initiative will highlight the ongoing fight to save the species.
