Makino Milling Machine Co. (Tokyo, Japan) has largely completed its network for serving the growing Chinese market by opening two regional technical centers recently. The one in Dongguan, Guandong Province, covers southern China, and the other in Tianjin, near Beijing, covers the northern half. Both are close to masses of metallic mold users, mainly the Japanese-ru automotive factories and parts suppliers, some owned by Japanese firms. The investment for the new units by Makino China Co. (Kunshan, Jiangsu Province), which the tech centers report to, was not stated.
