NEW YORK -- Virtual reality will play a real role in the future of online marketing, according to executives at last week's first annual Virtual Worlds Conference in New York.
Digital media leaders gathered to discuss the potential in targeting consumers within existing online worlds such as Second Life and There.com. Executives from Disney, MTV and Nickelodeon discussed the potential in engaging customers by creating their own branded online environments.
