Apr. 30--Is Kentucky ready for its first Jewish governor? It will have one if Jonathan Miller is elected.
"I don't see why not," said Roc Linkov, a leader in the Jewish synagogue in Bowling Green. He has never encountered any anti-Semitism here, the New Jersey native said.
Many political observers think Miller's religion won't be an issue leading up to the May 22 primary or a possible runoff election.
Many voters, including Stu Spindel, a leader at Temple Adath Israel in Owensboro, didn't realize Miller is Jewish. "I don't know anything about him," Spindel said.
