Apr. 30--Michael Moniz's smile will never be forgotten, said friends of the teen who was killed in a car crash in Dix Hills.
At his wake yesterday, dozens of flower arrangements in the shape of hearts and crosses surrounded the coffin of the John F. Kennedy High School student at Bartholomew Funeral Home in Bellmore.
A ceramic plate with the outline of his handprints from 1994 was placed on a table alongside a picture of him as a baby and another as a child with his hands together as if in prayer.
Moniz, of Bellmore, died Thursday along with Giacomo "Jack" Alfieri, of Merrick.
