BANGKOK, April 30 Asia Pulse - Thailand's stock market, battered by political uncertainty and a sluggish economy, will rebound after a general election here scheduled to be held in December, the president of Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) said.
SET president Patareeya Benjapolchai said most investors were reluctant to invest now as they were waiting for clearer economic direction and the general election.
It is expected that investment on the SET should improve after the election, Mrs. Patareeya said, making it a good time for bargain hunters to buy while stock prices are low. She said the SET index is unlikely to decline further.
