May 1--Officials locked down Penn State University's Schuylkill Haven campus for about an hour Monday afternoon, then closed the campus until this morning as police searched for a student who was placed on academic leave two weeks ago following "erratic behavior," a college spokesman said.
Police arrested a man Monday evening wanted in connection to the theft of some weapons. But police would not say if that man was the student they were searching for.
Officials sent students, faculty and staff home at 4 p.m. and resident students remained in their locked dormitories, but the lockdown was lifted at 5 p.m., spokesman Jerry ...
