The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority is seeking proposals for a financial adviser, and the deadline for the proposals is May 17 at noon, according to a request for proposals issued earlier this week.

The RFP is routine for the authority, which is obligated under Connecticut law to review providers of professional services every three years, said CHFA vice president of finance and administration John K. Craford. The financial adviser that is selected will work for CHFA for all or part of calendar years 2007, 2008, and 2009, according to the RFP.
