May 3--The Phillies' season-opening run of National League East games came to a close Wednesday.
The ending was a familiar one.
Atlanta's 4-3 win at Turner Field gave it a second series victory over the Phillies in as many meetings this year. It dropped the Phillies, who played 21 of their first 27 games within the NL East, to 8-13 in their division.
The bad news didn't end there.
