May 3--Main Street Morgantown was honored for economic restructuring and its Image Streetscape Media Blitz when Main Street West Virginia handed out its annual awards Wednesday.
The economic restructuring honor brought a $4,000 prize to the local agency; the streetscape blitz another $1,000.
OTHER LOCAL WINNERS:
--Main Street Kingwood, $4,000 for promotions, small community.
--Main Street Fairmont, $4,000 for large-community organization; $1,000 for Feast of the Seven Fishes.
--Main Street Mannington, $1,000 for its Sesquicentennial Celebration.
In all, $50,000 was handed out for projects by 13 certified Main Street ...
