May 3--Semiconductor company Diodes Inc. continued its strong growth in the first quarter with revenue reaching $92 million, up 25 percent from a year ago.

The company's net income grew to $13 million, up 39.7 percent from $9.3 million for the comparable three-month period in 2006.

Earnings per share were 47 cents, up from 34 cents per share a year ago. Without stock option expenses, earnings would have been 50 cents a share, still below the 52 cents per share Wall Street analysts were expecting.
