A growing number of companies are infusing cheese with flavored alcohol. California-based PARTY CHEESE, INC.'S products include Martini Madness, Mexican Jumping Bean and Mama Mia alcohol-infused cheese. The company launched its products in 2005, and has expanded into 20 states producing about 50,000-lbs. of cheese annually.
VOD GOURMET LLC, based in Greenwich, CT, introduced its vodka-flavored cheese in 1999, and has produce approximately 2.2 million-lbs. One of its most successful products is infused with Absolut Kurrant and Peppar, which helps to flavor and age the cheese. The company recently partnered with ...
