Brainerd, Minn. -- Typically Mick Endersbe would get "tons" of entries in the fishbowl game at his booth at the Minnesota Association of Financial Aid Administrators conference. College financial aid officers guess how many dollars are in the bowl; the best guess wins the money.
But with the financial aid industry under fire, Endersbe, a college consultant, had a mere three entries by midway through the MAFAA conference. And he wonders if the winner will ultimately accept the $35 prize money.
