INTERVIEW: Hungarian state-owned forestry to invest HUF 4 bln in sports park, hotels by 2010

BUDAPEST. MAY 4. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Hungarian state-owned forestry Mecseki Erdeszeti Zrt (ME) will invest HUF 4 bln in a local tourism development project including a park for extreme sports called "Mecsextrem" and several hotels, ME Deputy CEO Janos Szonyi told Interfax in a telephone interview on Friday.
"To date, we have invested HUF 700 mln in the park, and we estimate total costs, including further hotel investments through 2009, to come to HUF 4 bln," Szonyi said.
