May 5--The candidates for the two-year unexpired term on the City Commission's At-Large B seat are running a tight race, as measured by their statements of campaign contributions and expenditures.

Roy de los Santos Jr. has raised $3,188 and has spent $3,121 while Leonel 'Leo' T. Garza has raised $2,000 in contributions, spent $4,409 and injected $2,409 of his funds into his campaign.

Both agree that it's not easy raising money.
