May 6--STAMFORD -- Weekend drives for most husbands and wives aren't as formal as the one taken yesterday by Howland and Joy Blackiston.
The Weston couple glammed it up like the Hollywood royalty who once rode in their shiny, black 1939 Cadillac Fleetwood with "MGM" on the license plate. They were attending yesterday's "Model Ts to Mustangs" classic car show at Stamford Museum & Nature Center. Howland donned a chauffer's cap and uniform; Joy wore an evening gown and feather boa.
The seven-passenger touring sedan -a limousine by today's standards -- was purchased by MGM Studios for the English-born actress Greer Garson. ...
