May 6--PANAMA CITY BEACH -- Randall Kent stood proudly next to his motorcycle parked along Middle Beach Road and gestured at the bright yellow sticker stretching across the bottom of the windscreen that read, "Patriot Guard Rider."
The Blountstown resident came to the spring Thunder Beach Rally with a number of friends who also belong to the nonprofit organization, which provides escorts and honor guards for military service personnel killed in battle and police and firefighters who die while protecting their communities.
