May 6--The chances of drunken drivers spending time behind bars in the Lehigh Valley region depend largely on where they're arrested.

In Bucks County, serial drunken drivers are far more likely to do time on the couch in their own living rooms wearing an ankle bracelet -- despite state laws that require jail time for habitual offenders.

Elsewhere, such as in Northampton and Montgomery counties, at least some of drunken drivers' mandatory prison time will be spent at the county jail.
