Coming from as far away as Canada, 10 freeriders participated in a charity "flip-off" event for Joe Kenney in March. The Daytona Beach, Fla., freeride was organized by Nicholas Foederer as a way to help Kenney with medical expenses.

One of the world's top freeriders, Kenney suffered severe head injuries in January from an altercation in San Luis Obispo, Calif. He spent almost a week in a coma after having a seizure and needing craniotomy surgery.
"We did everything we set out to do for the weekend, and then some," Foederer said. "It was a great time riding with everyone and helping Joe at the same time."
