I'm writing in regards to John Tiger, Jr.'s Seat Time column ("Need More Competition") in the March issue. He wrote the magazine wanted ideas for upcoming articles, and boy do I have one! It could actually kill a few birds with just one stone.
I am an owner and aficionado of Allison Boats. In case you aren't aware, this year (through the 2008 model year) is going to be the last year of the Allison XB2002. Darris Allison announced that due to a lack of small, lightweight motors, he's discontinuing this model. Before he does, however, he's introducing some changes in the hull and consoles for the 2008 model. My idea is to do one last review of this important boat. Besides ...
