Spring is just around the corner as I write this, and by the time you read my musings for this month, the boating and fishing season will be in full swing. I'm always amazed at how much important stuff isn't checked at the beginning of (or during) each season. I'm talking about the "stuff" that's vital to the boat's handling, performance, and, most of all, the occupants' comfort and safety. Checking these all-important safety items will only take a couple of hours, and the time spent could avert a catastrophe, or at least, a day's inconvenience.
