Tokyo, Japan, May 7, 2007 - (JCN Newswire) - Today JAL Group announced the results for the traditional Japanese "GOLDEN WEEK" vacation period, stretching this year from April 27 to May 6, 2007. The overall number of passengers traveling on JAL Group airlines was up by 1.6% on the same period last year.
During the 10-day period made up by a combination of public holidays and weekends, the number of passengers traveling on international routes operated by JAL and its subsidiaries - Japan Asia Airways (JAA) and JALways (JAZ) - totaled 360,088, down 1.0% on the same period last year.
